Our mental health should be our priority when coming to college. At UPike, we have 8 week blocks which adds more work in a shorter amount of time. We have to maintain our mental health to even be able to do our work. It’s hard sometimes to even wake up in the mornings or to find motivation. We often disassociate ourselves because we don’t take care of ourselves. Rob Musick gave me seven ways to maintain our mental health, Marty Green gave me advice on how to not disassociate, and I’ve provided an image of ways to do self-care. All of this is for you freshman who need help.
