- Assess current figures and figure captions against Textbook Criteria for Success in order to plan for revision.
- Compare before and after examples of student-centered figures and figure captions.
- Determine when a Media Development Request is needed.
- Identify the steps in submitting a Media Development Request.
Overview
In Unit 6, you made your first pass through your chapter drafts. You read with a student’s eyes to understand where you left off and you met with your Project Manager to determine your timeline and deliverables for this year. You filled up to three content gaps per chapter.
In this unit, you will make a second pass through your chapters to focus on fully developing your multimedia figures. By the end of this month-long pass, you’ll have at least one accessible figure per chapter section that is clearly aligned with your learning objectives and fully integrated with the text to enhance learning.
