The purpose of these activities is to help you identify useful time management skills and demonstrate how to prioritize your tasks.
LO1. Identify your time management style.
LO2. Apply the Eisenhower Decision Matrix to prioritize school related tasks.
LO3. Create a S.M.A.R.T. Goal for the term.
LO4. Identify procrastination issues and techniques to resolve them.
Activity 4.1 Where Does Your Time Go? Part I
[Instructors: You can use any online time management calculator that you prefer.]
Use the Time Management Calculator. Fill in each of the areas on the calculator with an estimate of how much time you think you spend doing each of the activities listed every week. Once you are done, take a screenshot and crop it down to just your estimated results then paste the image on your worksheet. See example below:

Activity 4.4 Prioritizing Your Assignments
This activity will help you prioritize your urgent vs important upcoming assignments. Use one of your classes that is required for your major or program and list your assignments, readings, and activities for that class using the boxes on the table below.

Activity 4.5 Create a To-Do List
Using your prioritized list of tasks from the previous activity create a to-do list scheduling out your time for tomorrow. Make sure you include any classes, work, or other obligations, as well as when you plan to work on your prioritized tasks.

Complete the steps below to develop a study-based goal that you can work on throughout this course. Some examples: “I will study 3 hours each day,” “I will spend 10 minutes before and after each class reviewing my notes,” “I will use the Pomodoro technique to structure my study time.”

Activity 4.7 Create a Weekly Schedule
Create a weekly schedule that includes your classes, work or other obligations, and when you plan to study for each of your courses. Make sure your schedule can help you measure/track your S.M.A.R.T. goal. You should have a minimum of two hours of study time for each credit you are taking (12 credits = 24 study hours in a week)
