Introduction

Introduction to Chemistry is intended for use as a text in a single-term, stand-alone chemistry course. It was produced with the specific objective of making an openly-available text for the course GS 105 Physical Science: Chemistry at Central Oregon Community College. The audience is likely to include students majoring in fields outside of the Sciences. Its objective is to provide students with an exposure to core ideas of the subject without deep discussion of underlying physics or math.
