1.6 Conclusion
This chapter underscores the importance of fieldwork for the human services student. Internships give you the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have learned in the classroom and get valuable feedback on their work. The ability to apply theory to practice is key, as are challenging structural and social barriers to equity and inclusion.
