APPENDIX C: Peer Review Forms
Peer reviews are very helpful. You can get feedback from classmates about your writing. In addition, you can read another classmate’s work and learn more about how other students write. Finally, by comparing and contrasting your work with a classmate’s, you can have a very useful discussion about what how to improve your research and writing skills. However, it’s not always easy to know where to start or what to focus on. And often it is not helpful to try to do it all. So here are some guided peer review forms for each essay that help you to focus on the things you are learning in this class. Your peer will be able to use your concrete feedback, and you will have a better idea of what to look for in your own writing, too!
